The Hammered Pear

Created in 2013, The Hammered Pear is locally owned by Mary Adcox. I create a wide variety of eclectic jewelry. My edgy and Bohemian designs utilize materials including metals, glass, leather, industrial materials, Swarovski crystals, gemstones, natural stones, and freshwater pearls. 

I have sold at the Memphis Arts Collective Holiday Artist Market, the Brooks Museum Holiday Artist Market, the V & E Artwalk, the East Buntyn Artwalk, Crafts & Drafts and the Cooper Young Festival. 

I graduated in Mechanical Engineering and worked in the field until a few years ago, when I realized I wanted to explore my creative side. Largely self-taught, I have taken formal classes at the Memphis College of Art, the Metal Museum and with other established artists to improve my knowledge and technique. 

My work includes earrings, bracelets and necklaces made from metal, leather, glass, pearls, crystals and semi-precious gemstones.  Custom design requests are welcome.
