Serendipity Mosaics

I became fascinated by mosaic art after seeing some of the pieces my mother created. I have been creating mosaic art for 11 years in the form of wall panels, serving trays, holiday decorations, bird houses, and ornaments. I work primarily with glass, but will use other materials including ceramic tiles, broken china, beads and other found objects on various projects. 

 My mosaic art pieces tend to be very colorful and are influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright's art glass, the arts and crafts movement, and nature. I enjoy the challenge of finding detailed objects in nature, such as flowers and trees and figuring out how to recreate those objects in glass.
