Leslie Tubbs-Tiscia

 Leslie Tubbs-Tiscia is a mixed-media artist who enjoys working with acrylics, watercolor, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics and found objects. Leslie is a native of Memphis, TN who grew up in nearby North Mississippi and relocated to New Orleans for a few years until returning to Memphis due to Hurricane Katrina. She enjoys experimenting with different themes that range from how femininity is experienced and perceived, connection to natural elements and intuitive abstractionism. Leslie has been interested in and creating art on and off for most of her life and has taken art classes both in and out of a college setting while exploring her own techniques and practice.
